We’re here for everyone in East Central Florida whose lives have been affected by cancer.
Hi. We’re the East Central Florida Cancer Control Collaborative, or ECFCCC for short.
If you or a loved one is battling cancer, or if you want information about cancer prevention or treatment, you’re in the right place. If you need help getting access to cancer care or support in East Central Florida, you’re in the right place too. And if you want to learn about some of the state’s leading anti-cancer initiatives, and maybe even how to get involved, you’re also in the right place.
Here’s a little about who we are and what we do:
ECFCCC works to improve access to cancer care resources and to fight the devastating effects of cancer in East Central Florida. We aim to increase awareness about cancer prevention and treatment through education, research, and advocacy.
We’re a group of local professionals from “safety net” healthcare facilities (county Health Departments, Qualified Health Centers, health clinics, etc.), primary care practices, hospitals, hospices, government agencies, nonprofits, and advocacy groups, as well as other community members. What brings us all together is the drive to provide area residents with reliable information about cancer prevention and treatment and better access to cancer care.
ECFCCC supports the local cancer community with resources, education, online training, presentations, networking opportunities, grant announcements, regional cancer data, communications tools, and more.
We serve Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Sumter counties. ECFCCC is one of six Regional Cancer Control Collaboratives operating under the Department of Health’s Florida Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, which is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
